  1. I just finished reading your blogs. I'm sorry that you are going through a difficult situation. I can somehow relate because I'm a single parent as well the only difference is that my kids are with me. And I saw your post about the single mother thing and I can say that that single mother is lucky that she's getting financial support for her kids. Here in our country its not the government's duty to financially support single parents especially single mothers and I feel really sorry that a lot of single moms here needs to be resourceful of ways on how to raise their kids alone. I'm thankful that I have my family that supports me and my kids. I'm hoping that everything's gonna be alright between you and the mother of your kids. I also wish that you can be with your adorable kids soon. Just keep the faith and like what Bob Marley sings "Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright."

    1. Wow! Thank you for taking the time to read through. The last few years have been very difficult, this blog has been a place where I can vent my feelings. At times, writing was the only companion I had and it got me through some very dark times. Whilst I wrote these things on a blog I didn't really expect anyone to take note. When someone does, like you, it is quite overwhelming. It makes me want to continue :)

We aren't in exactly the same position but I have the utmost respect for anyone raising children on their own. It is the most rewarding thing in the world but also the most difficult. A government should support single parents; in my country they do - to the extent that some parents can MAKE money from having a child and dumping the other parent. It sounds like in your country the balance is a little too far the other way maybe?

A year ago today I was arrested and held in a maximum security prison for 12 days without trial. It was the lowest moment I have had. I don't want it to ever happy again but I am thankful for the experience. It taught me to appreciate the small things in life like fresh air and freedom, it taught me to be more humble. I haven't seen my children for over 9 months now but I know that day will come. I will keep the faith and remember those words from Bob Marley :)

I will be in touch when I have had time to read your blogs. Thanks again, Adam
